My name is Yandi and I am the CEO of 'HOUSE OF YANDS'. This blog is to tell my story of my journey as I have been getting a lot of questions on how to start, when I started and why I wanted to start in the first place. I have always had a passion for doing nails. I originally started when I was 12 years old. I started experimenting with polygon as I had saw a lot of YouTube videos and tutorials that interested me on what it was. I managed to start doing my little designs and learnt how to apply gel and I must say it took me a while to get the hang of it. But after I got the hang of it, I started practicing on my close friends and family. As I was so young I felt as if I couldn't not capitalise off of doing nails because 1: nobody would take me seriously, 2: I couldn't maintain doing nails and school at the same time and 3: I can't qualify myself and insure my business.
